THIS WEEK AT BIRMINGHAM FIRST
PRAYER QUILTS – Stop, Tie a knot & say a Prayer for: Mark "Scotty" Scott, friend of Donna Rosendahl’s family, in his mid-50's, has advanced crippling rheumatoid arthritis, 3 bleeding ulcers, and a hole in his cornea. Pray for relief from pain, both physical and mental. Also, Cindy Trumbly, the Dyers' daughter-in-law, She has Van Recklinghausen's disease, and a malfunctioning thyroid. She has asked for prayers of healing, proper diagnosis and wisdom of treatment by the physicians, and peace for her family.
GEORGIA-CUMBERLAND ACADEMY STRINGS – along with some of “our” Youth, will have our worship services TODAY, January 31, 2009.
SELF DIRECTED BEHAVIOR – Will meet today after the services at 1 pm, and continue weekly for 6 weeks.
Dave Ramsey – FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY – Will begin TODAY, Jan. 31st at 6:30 pm, and continue weekly for 13 weeks.
RADIO MINISTRY – each Sunday from 4-5 pm on WXJC at 850AM or 92.5FM. The web site is: 850wxjc.com.
BIBLE STUDY – February 4th, Wednesday evening. We are studying the Book of Ephesians. “Youth Praise”, both at 7 pm.

PATHFINDERS – will meet Feb. 7th at 1 pm.
DISASTER TRAINING SEMINAR – SUNDAY, from 9 am to noon, Feb. 8th. in the Youth Room.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH – Coming Sabbath, Feb. 14th. For children 3 – 12 years old.
CHURCH FINANCE & BOARD MEETING – Sunday, February 15th beginning at 8:30 am with the Finance Committee Meeting.
SKATE & GAME NITE – February 28th, Beginning at 6 pm. Plan for a fun filled evening!! Lots of different table games, air hockey, roller skating, etc. Light refreshments will be served.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! Vacation Bible School – Coming June 8th through June 13th, which is graduation day! DON’T FORGET
